Booking an appointment
How do I book my appointment?
You can make an appointment by phone, email, or book online. The easiest way to secure future appointments is to book after your completed service before leaving the salon.
Arrival
Where do I park?
The driveway of 55 Hillcrest Drive is dedicated Salon parking on the right hand side. There is also free parking on the street, if needed.
Can I walk right in?
Yes, please, let yourself in, but the door is a wee bit sticky, so push hard.
What can I bring into the Salon with me?
You are now able to bring your personal belongings into the Salon with you. Remember to have your calendar for booking your next appointment.
Are you still operating the outdoor salon in the dome?
After three years of outdoor service, Chez Allison has decided to no longer offer this option.
Payment
What kind of payments to you take?
Cash, debit card, cheque, e-transfer, and Chez Allison gift certificates are all accepted.
Masks
Do I need to bring my own mask?
You have two choices:
- You may wear your own fKN95 or doubled up disposable surgical masks that has NOT been worn on any errands before coming to the Salon.
- I am happy to provide 3 ply disposable masks or cloth masks in sizes kids, S, M, L, XL, or a polypropylene insert at no charge.
Services
What services do you provide?
Chez Allison provides services for all genders and ages. This includes cuts, colour, highlights, blow dry/sets, up-dos, hair and scalp treatments, smoothing treatments and eyebrow tinting.
Can I purchase products on your site?
Yes! You can choose from a full range of hair, body and skin care products along with styling tools and more.
Please note when checking out that the taxes are given as "estimated taxes" before your final total is calculated to reflect the software's practice of adding tax based on your address location.
COVID Protocol
What changes do you implement for COVID safety?
Measures include pre-screening questionnaire, mandatory mask wearing, prohibiting removal of masks of masks for face services such as beard trims, and professional grade HEPA filter in salon space.
Windows are open weather permitting.
Will you be providing shampooing and blow drying in the Salon?
I am now offering both shampooing and blow dry services for guests, and feel safe with this decision thanks to my professional grade HEPA filter system in the Salon.
Other options are the hood drier, or receiving a dry haircut, where you come with clean dry hair.
How will you determine a flattering cut for my face when I am wearing a mask?
For first-time clients, Chez Allison offers virtual consultations through Zoom video chat prior to your first appointment.
Are you fully vaccinated?
Yes, Pfizer all 6 times.
First dose May 21, second dose July 13th, third dose December 25th, 2021, fourth dose August 6th 2022. Fifth and sixth doses received November 20, 2022 and March 12, 2023 respectively.
